Welcome to our family

God’s Grace Church gathers each Sunday in Sioux Falls to worship Jesus Christ and grow as a community that loves God and loves others.

Whether you are new to faith, looking for a church home, or visiting the area, you are invited. Come as you are — nursery is provided for little ones, and Sunday School welcomes every age.

Your first Sunday

Worship is at 10:00 AM. Sunday School at 9:00 AM has classes for kindergarten through adult.

Nursery is provided for children up to 5 years old.

What We Believe

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

Salvation is a free gift from God, received by turning from sin (repentance) and placing our faith in Jesus. God, in His grace and mercy, sent His one and only Son, born of a virgin, and without sin. Fully God and fully human, Jesus died as the perfect sacrifice for our sins and was crucified and rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God.

There is one true and living God

God exists eternally as Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Three distinct persons, yet one God. Each is fully God, equal in essence, power and glory. They work together in perfect unity to create, sustain, and save the world.

God the Father

The Father is the source and origin of all things. He is the planner of creation, providence, and redemption. The Father is not more divine than Jesus or the Holy Spirit. He is often portrayed as the one who initiates and sends.

Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to Earth.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit comes from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, show what is right, and warn of judgment. The Holy Spirit is our advocate and gives new life, sets us apart and empowers all who believe in Jesus. He lives within every believer, serving as our constant helper, teacher, and guide.

The Bible is the Full Authority and Word of God

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for our lives. Though written over many years, it was guided by the Holy Spirit, is completely true, and without error. God’s Word is a powerful tool for teaching, correcting, and training us in how to live. It gives us direction, hope, and encouragement as we follow Jesus daily.

Communion

We celebrate communion every time we gather for worship. If you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, you are welcome to participate. You do not need to be a member of God’s Grace Church. The bread and the cup are symbols of Christ’s body broken and His blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

Baptism

Baptism is the immersion in water that reflects the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and shows that our old life of sin is buried, and we are raised to live a new life in Him. Baptism is not only a physical act but it has profound significance when applied to our faith. We are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as a public declaration of our commitment to follow Jesus.
